A government-issued ID and a live photo confirm that the person behind a profile is real. Only the confirmation result - not the raw document - is kept on file after review.
Technical Usage Data

Identity Verification
How to Verify Identity Online Dating Without Oversharing
Identity verification exists to keep fake profiles and bots off SlavicLoveLink, and only the minimum data needed for that check is retained. When you verify, you submit one government-issued ID and a short live photo or video. A trained reviewer compares the live capture against the ID and the account's existing photos, confirms a match, and records only the verification outcome - the original document image is not shown to other members or kept in your public profile.

Encryption and Transport Security
Every connection between your device and SlavicLoveLink travels over an encrypted TLS/SSL connection, so messages and account data cannot be read while in transit. Stored information, including verification results and profile data, is kept using AES-256 encryption at rest.

Account Deletion and Data Retention
When you request account deletion, SlavicLoveLink removes your profile, photos and messages within 30 days. A small set of records - such as billing history and verification outcomes - may be retained briefly to meet fraud-prevention and legal obligations before final deletion.
